A big thank you to pre school.

With our new chef settling in very nicely in the kitchen I have been able to start looking towards our next OFSTED inspection. The first stage of this process is always taking time to review current practice and to get a second opinion from our partners at the local authority.
This morning as well as a full baby massage class and a full nursery we welcomed two representatives of the Early Years team to Danesmoor House. Observations were carried out in the pre school and staff were asked to show examples of randomly chosen children’s files and asked to feedback on their progress. Our partners were with us for the morning and the feedback was very positive.
The feedback praised the pre school team for having settled the children in a new setting as well as welcoming so many new children so successfully to Danesmoor House. When looking at the files, the observation records for the children showed the children making good progress. The feedback from our staff revealed a thorough knowledge of individual children.
Our work at Danesmoor House is always a journey of continual improvement. We always look to the next improvement or new innovative practice. Working in partnership with our team, parents, the local authority and OFSTED is for us the only way to continually improve our practice and secure the best possible outcomes for your child.
