Finding the right staff.

We are very proud of our team here at Danesmoor House Day Nursery. As we get busier the need arises to find new members of the team.
It’s not an easy process and over the last few weeks we have seen a lot of people with some very impressive CVs.
What do we look for in a new team member. It’s quite simple, they have to get it!
Danesmoor House is not just childcare, it’s about exploring, extending the skills and abilities of the children in our care, it’s about contributing to the development and welfare of your children, whether you are cooking a meal, cleaning a room keeping on top of the gardening or being a nursery practitioner or manager.
So welcome to Toni our new graduate practitioner to the 0-2 age group. Toni has tonnes of energy and expertise. She loves working with babies and is full of great ideas and activities to help your children their reach their milestones ready for their 2 year old check.

Grace is our new level 3 apprentice. She trained for her level 2 last year with Darlington College and came with a strong recommendation from her mentors. She has a genuine desire to work with children and that really came across in her interview.

The newest addition to our team is our new chef, Julie Sanderson. We have looked long and hard not only for someone who can cook, but also someone who can bring their passion for food to the children. Julie has had extensive experience in catering. She fully understands the importance of her role and how high quality nutritious food contributes to the health and welfare of your children. She also has wanted to live at Danesmoor House since she was 4.
Congratulations to our new starters and welcome to Danesmoor House Day Nursery. We are sure you are going to love it.
