Food for thought.

Although they don’t know it, our children have been experiencing a whole world at their dinner table. This week we have eaten a chicken and butternut squash curry, chilli con carne, fish in a creamy paprika sauce, banana pudding, fruit cake, lasagne, and loads of fruit and whole grain cereals and organic milk.

Children are happy when tummies are full and they have the right mix of foods to fuel their bodies. We avoid quick fixes and provide foods that will give them slow burning energy for the whole day.
Food is prepared fresh each day from fresh ingredients. We only cook what we need and we never reheat food for another meal.
We think the children look well on it, and judging by the way they have been running round the garden it seems to be working.
